Self-Serve has been enabled throughout SS/G to allow all administrative functions to be performed under security by whoever the Provider decides. Traditionally this has been by back office administration staff but under SS/G and with the appropriate authority, clients or agents could perform these operations.
The SS/G Servicing component supports the full range of administrative transactions such as reducing cover, change of premium frequency, fund switching/ redirection or removal of benefits.
Where possible, routine servicing transactions such as indexed escalation and lapsing are automated to ensure accuracy, reliability and to reduce back office costs.
Utilising SS/G‘s powerful windback and windforward capabilities, retrospective changes with automated recalculations can also be performed, but typically this would only be available only to selected administrative staff.
