Reducing back office costs through Self-Serve and increased automation
Self-Serve has been enabled throughout Copernicus SS/G to allow all administrative functions to be performed under security by whoever the Provider decides. Traditionally this has been by back office administration staff but under SS/G and with the appropriate authority, clients or agents could perform these operations.
The Copernicus SS/G Servicing component supports the full range of administrative transactions such as reducing cover, change of premium frequency, fund switching/ redirection or removal of benefits.
Where possible, routine servicing transactions such as indexed escalation and lapsing are automated to ensure accuracy, reliability and to reduce back office costs.
Utilising Copernicus SS/G‘s powerful windback and windforward capabilities, retrospective changes with automated recalculations can also be performed, but typically this would only be available only to selected administrative staff.
