New Venture with Medicals Direct

TCP has entered into a collaborative arrangement with Medicals Direct, the leading provider of outsourced medical and underwriting services to UK life assurers.
This new joint venture aims to provide a straight-through processing package that will help new entrants to gain a foothold in the UK life assurance market much more quickly and cost-effectively.
It will also enable existing players to launch new products on a standalone platform free from the constraints of legacy systems and operations.
In making the announcement Medicals Direct Chief Executive Officer Mike Benton said:
“We are delighted to be supporting a life assurance software provider of TCP’s calibre, helping to achieve new business efficiencies and increase speed of issue, whilst enabling relevant management information to be used in a more targeted way”.
