Copernicus SS/G has been built on the latest Microsoft technology releases of .NET and C# with SQLServer 2008 as the back end database as standard. Alternatively other databases such as DB2 can be used.
The component model architecture has been built around a security framework to an MVC (model-view, controller) model allowing for an N-tier architecture.
Each Copernicus SS/G sub system is made up of encapsulated components with extensive use of XML to allow integration with other solutions. This enables complete administration systems to be constructed from best-of-breed solutions.
Built as a scalable and secure solution, both performance and penetration can be proven in a suitable lab.
The web technology is fully browser independent to the latest accepted standards.
Finally, Microsoft have audited Copernicus SS/G to be fully Windows 2008 compliant.
